It literally translates to "Let's make nails with heads"

We met at the Krupa residence to do exactly that. On this rainy Tuesday night, we agreed on a time-frame and researched more flying options to get us over to Europe. My first choice "Ultra Low Coast" from Stewart Airport was after all not the cheapest option! Joe found Air Lingus flights for $300 less per person.

Is it really an option?

When dropping off this seasons christmas wreath at our house, Christine pulled Peggy aside, looked her in the eyes (without a drink) and asked, how serious we were with a trip to Germany together. Would it really be okay to do such a thing together?

Yes! It certainly would be okay, we've proven a couple of times already, that our two families fit together on any personal level - the kids like each other, and the grown ups can deal with each other as well. So, this could work out. 

So, if we want to make it happen - our side is open to give it a try!

"As a token of addition confirmation" we got them a German themed travel dairy for Christmas. 

As of now, I started to collecting some ideas - my first impulse was, we want to show them where we are from. Where and how did we spent our childhood days. 

I started custom google map to mock a first rough itinerary together. We start in the Eifel and do a roadtrip to the Harz... it's fun to plan such a thing, even though it's not clear at this point when and if it will happen - but it's fun!

We gave some Euros as part of a birthday present to our friends with the comment: "For the day, when we will show you the beauty of the places where we were born.
